Peter Staunton Joins BBC’s The Big Deal
Peter Staunton, founder of Peter Staunton Design, is stepping into a new role this week as one of the judges on BBC’s The Big Deal with Steph McGovern.
Best known for creating distinctive luxury interiors, Peter brings his years of experience in design, interiors and craftsmanship to the world of art dealing.
In Episode 2, Peter joins Steph McGovern and series mentor Cordelia de Freitas as the aspiring art dealers compete to buy and sell artwork for high-end homeowners.

At Peter Staunton Design, artwork is considered as part of the wider interior rather than simply something added at the end. Paintings, sculpture and decorative pieces can all play an important role in creating a home that feels personal and individual.
Peter’s approach is rooted in his philosophy of Raw Luxury ~ Refined Design, combining beautiful materials, craftsmanship and carefully considered design.
His appearance on The Big Deal offers viewers an insight into the thought process behind selecting art for sophisticated interiors — and why choosing a piece should be about more than simply how it looks on a wall.
