CUT TRIANGLE I – TABLE LAMP

Inspired by the shapes and composition of the El Lizitsky poster ‘Beat the Whites with Red Wedge’, the Cut Triangle Table Lamp has a distinctive triangular base that pierces through the cylindrical lampshade to emerge once again at the other end.
Made in brushed grey metal, the wedge-shape has a strong graphic profile: a thin line from one angle, and an oversized, flat silhouette from another. At its base, a slab of white marble adds weight and heft – a small detail that complicates the simplicity of the two main elements, and compliments the white of the cotton of the shade.
