SQUARE IN CIRCLE – CEILING LIGHT

The circle and square: two perfectly symmetrical shapes are joined in an unexpected asymmetrical composition. The chunky, box-like backplate becomes a pedestal for the glowing circle of light that is encased in a thick band of brushed brass that glints in the light.

The simple, sculptural composition is enhanced by a palette of contrasting materials: against the dynamic brushed brass surface the solid, flat colour of the dark bronze acts, almost, like a shadow…
